Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee and manage various commercial roofing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial roofing processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial roofing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accuracy in execution.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for on-site tasks such as caulking, tile laying, concrete forming, and restoration work.
- Prepare roofing estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial project management or a related field within the roofing industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing estimating practices and techniques.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with various commercial roofing methods including fabrication techniques.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in tile laying, concrete forming, caulking, and restoration projects is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
